ABOUT SYNATEL Formed in 1970, Synatel designs and manufactures Britain's widest range of industrial electronic sensing, counting and control equipment. The range includes photoelectric sensors, capacitive and inductive proximity sensors, microprocessor based batch counters, tachometers, flow rate indicators and level controls for both liquids and solids. A wide range of special products are designed and manufactured to customer specifications. The company also offers high quality subcontract electronic manufacturing facilities. LOCATION Located approx 3.5 miles from J11 or J12 M6 motorway, 2.5 miles from T7 M6 Toll motorway, Synatel operates from its purpose built manufacturing facility in the heart of England, with easy access to road, rail and air networks. THE FACILITY The company has 4000 square metres of manufacturing space and employs "state of the art" design and manufacturing techniques throughout. A fully equipped machine shop allows production of the wide range of mechanical parts needed for Synatel's extensive product range and facilities include CNC milling and turning. The electronic assembly section produces conventional, surface mount and hybrid assemblies and both manual and automated soldering techniques are used. All products are extensively tested using automated and conventional test facilities. ACCREDITATION The company carries ISO 9001 quality accreditation and a number of different products are produced with CSA, IECex and BASEEFA/ATEX Certification for hazardous area use.
